Student Leaders

Our ministry, consistent with our mission, is led by a strong group of student leaders. While we do have several wonderful full-time ministry staff, students leaders are responsible for most or our events and initiatives.

 
 

Executive Team

Daniel Chabeda  (Co-President)   daniel.chabeda@yale.edu   Daniel is a sophomore chemistry major and is considering double majoring (or if Yale gets that Minor thing sorted out…) with English. He is from Mooresville, North Carolina, home to the best Cookout in all the South! On campus, he plays viola in the Yale Symphony Orchestra, does club gymnastics, and is involved in undergraduate research. He gets excited about contemporary classical music, skating, exclamation points, and the majesty of God!

Ministry Teams

Rooted

As Christians, we are called to boldly promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ and build up each other as a part of God's church. In seeking to create a worshipful experience for all member of Christian Union each week, the Rooted team creates an event that incorporates God’s infallible Word with both music and a relevant message.

Communications/Worship

The Communications Team is responsible for continually working on finding effective and engaging ways of sharing information both within our community and with the campus at large. The Worship team wants to get more people involved with worship! We want everyone to contribute to the praise of God.

Outreach

The goal of the Outreach Team is to connect Christians at Yale to each other. This is accomplished in the hopes of demonstrating God's unconditional love through community involvement. Through their actions, the Outreach Team strives to establish a positive view of the kingdom of God as one that is not of this world, but of something greater.

Socials

The Socials Team works to develop a vibrant community of believers and to provide Christ-centered opportunities to connect and support one another. By creating exciting and engaging activities, they encourage others to participate in Christian Union's community.
